Jiangmen Customs Handles Its First Import of Compound Fish Feed

Jiangmen Customs reported that a trading company successfully imported 8.8 metric tons of compound fish feed, valued at RMB 837,000, under the supervision of Waihai Customs. This marked the first compound fish feed import handled within the Jiangmen customs district, expanding the local import category for feed products.

According to the report, customs provided one-on-one support to guide the company through feed import inspection and quarantine requirements, application materials, quarantine approval, and document review. For aquaculture feed importers, the case highlights the importance of early regulatory communication and accurate declaration during first-time import operations.
