On March 10, 2026, the Market Warning Expert Committee of China’s Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs released its China Agricultural Supply and Demand Estimates report for March 2026. In the corn section, the report said most feed and deep-processing enterprises had resumed normal production, corn demand from the feed sector remained strong, market trading was active, and both spot and futures prices had moved higher.
In the soybean section, the same report said domestic carryover stocks were tightening, post-holiday restocking demand was being released, and the domestic soybean market had shown signs of recovery. Internationally, the report noted that Brazil was at the peak of its soybean harvest, with production expectations continuing to rise and likely reaching a new record high.
For the feed industry, the update suggests that raw material purchasing will remain closely linked to both domestic feed demand and South American soybean supply conditions.
